Previous France International Franck Ribery is suing the magazine Closer for 400,000 euros ($434,000) over an article which guaranteed he was ensnared in a prostitution case.
Closer had asserted Ribery would have been in contact with a court of law over a prostitution case — truth be told he was just a witness.
The winger, who came back to activity for his German club Bayern Munich at the weekend taking after a nine-month harm lay-off, had already been accused of paying for sex with an underage whore in 2009, despite the fact that he was absolved a year ago.

“Franck Ribery has once again been the victim of serious schemes committed by the French media with no aim other than to sully his reputation and throw it into the mud,” said the document.
Ribery was met by police on November 26 as a witness, a police source told AFP last Wednesday.
Be that as it may, Closer deny having done anything incorrectly.
"Closer distributed data that was checked and affirmed by police," the magazine's legal counselor Delphine Pando said in an announcement sent to AFP.
"(Closer) took consideration to clear up that he was discharged and that no charges were brought against him.
"Closer's editors demand that this data, which was exhibited as gossip, was affirmed by Franck Ribery's legal counselor."
Pando included that no summons had yet been gotten by the magazine.
