Ex-Senate President wins rerun decision with 84, 192 votes

Prompt past Senate President, David Mark has won the Benue South Senatorial District re-run decision with an aggregate of 84, 192 votes.

By report by Daily Post, the Independent National Election Commission, INEC, proclaimed the PDP hopeful victor of the rerun surveys which occurred on Saturday, February 20, 2016.

A certain Mark had before communicated certainty at the surveys after he voted in his Otukpo ward in the early hours of February 20, 2016.

It was further accumulated that Mark vanquished his real contender, Daniel Onjeh of the All Progressive Congress with an aggregate edge of 12, 571 votes after the previous NANs president surveyed 71, 621 votes.

Altogether, Mark won in five neighborhood government ranges while Onjeh won in four after which he was announced victor by the INEC returning officer, Prof. Ishaku Eneji.
