Garry Monk has been sacked as supervisor of Swansea City taking after a keep running of one win in 11 Premier League amusements, the Welsh club reported on Wednesday.
Friar, 36, drove Swansea to an eighth-spot complete last season in his first full battle in charge, however he has paid the cost for a keep running of results that has left the club a point over the transfer zone.
"The choice has been made reluctantly and with an overwhelming heart," Swansea executive Huw Jenkins said in an announcement on the club site.
"To end up in our present circumstance from where we were in the first week of September, and considering the drop of execution levels and keep running of results in the course of the most recent three months, it has conveyed us to this sad choice today."
